[Version
2.0 - September 22, 2002]
New features, bug fixes and improvements
available in this version include:
New:
- Added some extra features for
quickly: logging off, restarting,
shutting down, standing by and
hibernating the system, starting
the active screen saver and locking
the desktop. These new features
can be accessed from the tray

hotkeys.
- Added some important Security
related tweaks for controlling
user access to key Windows components,
such as Startup and Shutdown,
Control Panel, Desktop and Explorer,
Active Desktop, Network, Start
Menu and Taskbar, Display, and
so on.
- Sessions started by day/time-restricted
users are now automatically ended
at the specified time, even if
the user changes the system date/time.
- The desktop is now automatically
locked when resuming from stand-by
or hibernation mode to ensure
that only the logged-on user has
access to the system.
Improved:
- Windows Log Off command is now
properly handled by the program,
so users do not need to restart
the system to be authenticated
by Safelogon.
- To guarantee the functionality
and security provided by the program,
key operations, such as: uninstall,
reinstall, exit, disable, can
be performed only by the Administrator.
- Enhancements in the setup and
uninstall procedures.
Fixed:
- Fixed some compatibility issues
with access rights to the NTFS
file system when running in Windows
NT/2000/XP.
